Agrawal Legal Advisory, APC ("the firm," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information collected from the users of this website, the purposes for which it is used, the safeguards in place to protect it, and the choices available to you regarding your personal information.
1. Information we collect
We collect information about our users in three ways: 1) when you provide it directly; 2) automatically through technology when you visit our websites, and 3) from other sources.
We use the information primarily to provide you with a personalized Internet experience that delivers the information, resources, and services that are most relevant and helpful to you.
Information you provide us directly. When you email us, call us, or schedule a consultation, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and a description of your matter.
We use this information to respond to your requests, provide you with legal services if you are or become a client of the Firm, analyze our business operations and website usage, and for the firm’s networking or other business purposes.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to operate and secure the website.
Cookies. This website does not itself use advertising or analytics cookies. Third-party services we link to or use (described below) may use cookies under their own policies.
2. Third-party services
Our website may contain links to other websites whose information and privacy practices are probably different from ours. If you choose to use these links, you will leave our website and will then be subject to the privacy and information practices of those websites. We do not control and are not responsible for any of their content or their privacy policies, if any. We do not endorse or make any representations about them, or any information, software or other products or materials found there, or any results that may be obtained from using them. If you choose to access any of the other websites listed on our website, you should understand that you do so at your own risk.
- Scheduling. Consultations are booked through Google Calendar appointment scheduling. When you book, the information you enter is collected by Google and shared with us, and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

- Hosting. This website is hosted by a hosting platform, which processes technical data needed to deliver the site.
- External links. This website links to third-party sites such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

4. How we share your information
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only to service providers that help us operate the website and our practice (such as hosting, email, and scheduling providers), when required by law or professional rules, to protect our legal rights, or to the outside companies, like Clio, that perform services for us, such as processing invoice payments. When we work with an outside party, we require that these parties agree to process your personal information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Policy and applicable laws. We will take appropriate steps to ensure your information will be used solely to provide services requested by you, and not for other purposes.

Information shared by clients after an engagement is protected under the firm's professional duties of confidentiality.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to meet legal, professional, and recordkeeping obligations. Records relating to conflict checks may be retained as required by professional rules.
7. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under California law, which may include the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We have not done so in the past 12 months and have no plans to do so in the future.
Retention. We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain records for conflict checks and other professional obligations. Technical information in server logs is retained according to our hosting provider's standard practices.
